BM20200 Installation Options

The BM20200 roller brake tester is designed for direct on-ground installation, eliminating the need for costly civil works.

The system can be set up and ready for operation by one person in approximately 10 minutes, making it ideal for workshops, fleet operators and testing centres that require a flexible brake testing solution.

Its mobile design allows the brake tester to be relocated when required, while still providing the robust construction and accurate measurements expected from BM Test Equipment.

A wide range of available options allows the BM20200 to be configured to suit different workshop and testing requirements, with the ability to add further equipment and features at a later date.

The system can also form part of a complete mobile test lane, with options including axle load simulation, vehicle weighing, pedal force measurement and additional BM inspection equipment.

Quick installation with minimal groundworks

Most BM20200 installations require no civil groundworks, allowing the brake tester to be positioned directly on the existing workshop floor and set up for operation quickly.

Where an in-ground or split-bed installation is required, hot-dip galvanised subframes can be concreted into position before the brake tester is installed. This simplifies site preparation and helps ensure accurate alignment during installation.

The system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in a wide range of environments, with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +60°C and humidity levels up to 95%.

For workshops with inspection pits, the BM20200 can also be supplied with an optional split-bed installation, positioning the roller beds on either side of the pit.
