The BM53000 wheel play detector is a heavy-duty commercial vehicle inspection system, designed for use in HGV, bus, coach and commercial vehicle workshops.

It is DVSA ATF compliant and GEA approved for use within DVSA testing stations, making it ideally suited to Authorised Testing Facilities and commercial vehicle inspection lanes.

The system uses two robust hot-dip galvanised steel plates, one for each wheel, which move horizontally in multiple directions under operator control.
​
This allows steering and suspension components to be inspected quickly and safely without the need to jack up the axle, helping identify excessive movement, worn components and other defects.
​
A range of control and configuration options allows the BM53000 to be tailored to different workshop and inspection requirements.
